GinT Rubro is a Portuguese London Dry gin with a signature botanical, fig bark, which has a certain unique flavour profile and aroma. It was created by Tiago Sanches, who also distils the gin himself. The spirit is bottled at a healthy 58% ABV, kept in the rather funky bottle with a natural cork stopper.
Sweet vanilla, almond, coconut and woody notes balanced by drier juniper, with a lovely long finish.
Great Gin, the Fig bark gives it a long finnish and I love the high alcool content, it makes for a great summer drink if you add lots of ice and and tonic it keeps the flavour for ages
Amazing how such sweetness comes out on a London Dry. Great to sip neat and an amazing Negroni! I only felt the 58% ABV in the warming feeling when swallowing.
