Greenall's Wild Berry Gin Bottling Note

One of two new additions to the Greenall's Gin range - the first in more than 250 years! Greenall's Wild Berry Gin is made by infusing raspberries and British blackberries in Greenall's Gin, resulting in a fruity twist on their classic recipe. Ought to go rather well in a Bramble as well as other vibrantly fruity cocktails.

Greenall's Wild Berry Gin Reviews

Chemical

A simply horrible tasting cheap gin. Only go for if you believe some of the slightly too overenthusiastic 'finished the bottle and bought another' reviews here. Tried with fever tree normal and Mediterranean tonics. Both poured away. A waste of good tonic.

Taste horrible

Not good at all, can't taste the berries at all. Has a horrible after taste. Won't buy again

Best Gin ever

This is my favorite! It’s so good. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus shutdown the only store that carries it is temporarily closed. I miss it so much.

Horrible

Not a good gin at all. Tastes like chemicals and can barely taste the berries in it. Gave me and my family awful headaches after drinking 2 glasses

Bad

Has a very strong gin taste, doesnt taste at all of berries, and is disappointing.

Fantastic

Had this bought for my birthday in November. Due to the lockdown I decided to have a couple or more. This gin is one of the nicest I have tasted. Hic hic I’ve just put the empty bottle in the recycle bin but be assured when I am able to go out I will definitely be buying the wild berry gin again. It’s delicious with loads of ice, berries and topped up with tonic.

great

If you like your pink gin this one is great. plus no sugar. apparently all the other pink gins have loads of sugar in them

Great

Lovely berry gin, got a nice blackberry depth to it compared to other pink gins. Bought and drunk a few now, would recommend!

One star because it gets you drunk.

Disgusting. Tastes like fake plastic strawberries. Not buying this again
And there is a sour after taste. BLOODY AWFUL.

Tasteless

Doesnt taste off berrys at all basically like plain gin wont be buying again

Not fruity enough

Received a bottle as a gift for mother’s day. I prefer Gordon’s Pink gin as it tastes smoother and fruitier. Would not buy for myself.

Lovely

Absolutely lovely. Subtle flavour is just right. It's a big hit in our house!!

Gin flavoured bubble gum

I thought it tasted like bubble gum. I definitely would never call it "dry" - it tasted chemical and sweet.

Loved it taste and price

I don't normally drink spirits when I drink and when I do its very rare I'll drink gin but I had a GnT with a friend none flavoured and it was the leading brand and I really liked it so I came across Greenalls mixed berry gin two reasons why I decided to try it was the price at just £12 for 70cl and the bottle it looked luxurious to me and I think it's safe to say that it's definitely one of mum favourite drinks I've not tried the leading brand of flavoured gin so i can't compare but I won't be trying it i love this one if its not broke don't fix it

Not a good gin

Yikes, this was not a good gin. My first thought and it still stands - it tastes like a cheap wild berry flavour vodka, it has such a bite. I taste a wide range of gins and a lot more classic, but not many with the fruit flavour and this was NOT for me. Perhaps if you are into flavoured vodka / vodka drinks, you might make it work.

Delicious

I recently went to a gin festival, I hadn't come across flavoured gins before, but had always been a fan of flavoured vodka.
I brought a bottle Greenall's Wild Berry Gin on a whim, mainly due to it's reasonable price. Served cold, mixed with Feverfew tonic and garnished with Boozy Berries, it's as good as any of the gin I sampled at the festival, which were more than double the price.

Fulfilled its pronise

I have always enjoyed sloe and raspberry gins, but never found a brand that I liked;
have always liked Greenalls gin (as a cheap alternative to preferred brand x
Greenalls Berry sounded promising, and fulfilled its promise
