Greenall's Gin is a smooth, crisp, easy-going sort of a gin which works well as a mixer in a Gin and Tonic…
I am the Tanqueray and Beefeater gin drinker. I do not deviate as the others I try I do not like. (Bombay sapphire comes to mind). Knowing my background, Greenall's is making into my rotation. I only go through about a bottle a month, and it is very close to the Tangueray and Beefeater but different enough to be picked out of the bunch. Very pleased and very highly recommended.
This was always a nice ease drinking Gin. But sadly its made weaker and lost all of its flavour. Looks like cheap cost cutting to me.. Greenall's shame on you.. another lost customer !
This has a small nice and is palatable for starter drinkers like me. First home gin mixing I tried, better than Bulldog i thought. Very pleasant, very good for martinis and good price for entry level. Didnt try it raw however.
If you like gin this is not for you. Tried it for the first time and this will be the last. Not really gin at all. Where are the botanicals?
Tried Greenall's Gin in the absence of Gordons in my local supermarket. Mistake!! Insipid is the kindest description I can think of. Totally devoid of flavour, in fact it could be sold as vodka without contravening trade description laws. Certainly never again!
