From Belgian distillers Filliers' comes another variation on their Dry Gin 28, this time featuring a fresh breeze of pine blossom running through its centre. Rich and earthy, the Filliers' Dry Gin 28 Pine Blossom is intensely refreshing and easily stands out in cocktails.
Kaffir lime and lemon zest, peppercorn, plenty of juniper and big wafts of forest air in the Summer.
Wonderfully creamy. Notes of bruised mint leaf, vanilla pod and fresh, spicy pine.
Long and warming, with a very yummy hint of ice cream right at the end.
This gin shouts "fresh" in size 72 font, but within you'll find complex, earthy touches which round it out nicely.

Sometimes you can overthink the botanicals! Lemon and pine is not a combination I would recommend unless you're cleaning. If I'd closed my eyes I could have been drinking this in the kitchen or the bathroom..., but fortunately I couldn't smell their 'Bruxelles Sprouts'......
Not sure I agree with the review above - I don't really get the 'peppiness' they're referring to. That said - the way the botanical mix sits in this provides probably the best and most rounded and biggest flavour from a gin I've tried to date.
