Pan-Pacific Gin - Farallon Gin (That Boutique-y Gin Company)
Flavours from both sides of the Pacific Ocean come together to form Pan-Pacific Gin from the Farallon Gin folks in Northern California and That Boutique-y Gin Company. The star botanicals on show here are yuzu and schisandra berries, which you can see being delivered to Brad Plummer of Farallon Gin via seagull.
Batch 1 is a release of 718 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Old Tom-style juniper and hints of herbal menthol are present among prickles of cardamom and pepper.
Palate
Creamy vanilla, some light honey and fragrant coriander root. The juniper becomes warmer and more savoury.
Finish
A medium-length finish, the sweetness lingers with a touch of spice.
Overall
Very delicate and lightly sweet, herbal and spicy touches keep things interesting.
