An Irish gin produced in County Down, made with a base of barley grown, harvested and floor-malted by the Echlinville distillery. The botanicals used to give the gin its flavour profile include gorse flower petals, sweet kelp, lavender, anise, coriander and juniper. Echlinville Gin is the only Irish gin to have been awarded the coveted Three Star rating at the Great Taste Awards.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Herbaceous and sweet at first, with a little hint of orange oil coming through. Soon enough, a slight touch of coastal, almost salty seaweed appears.
