It's the winter edition of the Rock Rose Gin season variants, each made with a flavour profile that correlates to a different season. For this expression, the Dunnet Bay Distillers aimed for a juniper-forward, pine-y flavour profile.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Freshly cut pine, with its intensity balanced by soft orange peel and eucalyptus notes.
Palate
Still heavy on the pine-y juniper, now with a hint of spicy black pepper underneath.
Finish
A clean finish of fresh juniper, lemongrass and cinnamon.
