Description

Here's Batch #7 from the Dornoch Experimental Batches range, which features ten different small batch gins all made at the Dornoch distillery, from the barley all the way to the finished spirit, no neutral grain spirit whatsoever! Batch #7 is a rather light expression, which ought to do well for all your gin-cocktail-making needs...

Nose

Nutty nougat and light lychee sweetness. Familiar notes of pine resin (a bit like a forest in the middle of summer), followed by star anise.

Palate

Jammy orange as it opens. Slow rumbles of peppery juniper and crushed cardamom seed spiciness develop.

Finish

A clean finish of lime ‘n’ pine.
