A floral, fruity gin from the Gin del Professore produced by the Jerry Thomas Project in Rome. Ought to be great gin for sweeter cocktails, we reckon.
Juicy sweetness, almost a bit like an Old Tom. Lots of orange and spearmint, with a spicy touch of cinnamon and peppery juniper.

Not sure the MOM description does this lovely gin a justice. It's complex, oily aroma lures you in and the first sip is equally rewarding. We always have a bottle of this in the drinks cabinet and many of our friends have become converts. It regularly ranks top in blind tastings and it's hard to argue with that. To be scrupulously fair, one or two people who much prefer the fresh juniper and citrus styles didn't like the Madame, but they are definitely the minority. We love it.
She first tried this on Holiday in Cornwall recently and loved it now her favourite tipplen
Definitely a gin to drink as a digestif, with nothing added except an ice cube. I tried adding tonic and reverted to the real thing. It reminded me of a good whisky.
I love this gin (La Madame) as much as I love the Monsieur edition. Madame has indeed some amazing cinnamon and sweet spicy taste, whereas Monsieur smells fresh and more herbal. Though I've always wondered how they would taste in a cocktail, I've never got to use them in one as they have such a full taste on their own. I feel like not wasting her and him in such a way ;) Also, be prepared for a beautiful journey by the moment you first smell and see this (yellowish tone). It feels beautifully natural and herbal. First time I smelt La Madame I thought of walking in woods.
One of the nicest gins I’ve ever tasted...... very aromatic it just needs the gin and tonic nothing else to make it taste amazing!!!
