A cobalt blue bottle of gin from Cornish Rock, Blue Angel Gin is certainly a showstopper. It was name after the founders' dog Blue, as the name came to them while walking him at Rock Beach. Don't worry, the striking blue colour is completely natural and comes from Spanish blue gardenia flowers, which are combined with juniper berries, lemon and orange peel, pink pepper and grains of paradise. It's bottled at 42% ABV, and is great simply paired with tonic water and a generous handful of blueberries for a garnish.
Zesty orange and a warming spicy note, with earthy juniper and a sweet floral hint.
My favourite of all time. For those evenings I want to treat myself to something special.
Ugh! Far too sweet and floral
Not a standard juniper dry gin. Perfumed. A bit like Lone Wolf. For special "want something different " night.
This is such a smooth gin I have with fever tree Mediterranean tonic it’s amazing xx And reminds me of the sea on the Rocks ie the ice being the rocks xx I fell in love with this gin in Cornwall after a little sample on the market I’m on my first bottle but this will be first of many xxx
This gin is gorgeous. When you open the bottle it smells like the sea. Like being in Cornwall!
