The Mojito cocktail is a staple of summer drinking, but you know what the Mojito doesn't involve? Gin. This is a shame. Gin is nice. However, those clever Conker Spirit folks down in Dorset along with That Boutique-y Gin Company and Peter Holland from The Floating Rum Shack have come up with a way to work gin into the mix! Mojito Gin is built around a molasses base spirit, a nod to the cocktail's traditional rum base, and features generous helpings of fresh mint and lime alongside a traditional selection of gin botanicals.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Bright and refreshing, the peppermint jumps out of the glass right away. Lively juniper and citrus notes follow on shortly, with a touch of peppercorn lingering on the finish.
