Conker Spirit was founded by Rupert Holloway in the wonderful county of Dorset, home to many local beers but very little in the way of spirits. In walks Dorset Dry Gin from Dorset's first gin distillery! Conker Spirit's Dorset Dry Gin is distilled using British wheat spirit, New Forest spring water and 10 botanicals, including some rather distinctively-Dorset-inspired botanicals - Gorse Flowers, Samphire and Elderberries.
A summer meadow aroma leads among the subtle sweetness of citrus and icing sugar. Bright juniper percolates throughout.
Soft and supple, the palate begins with plenty of classic juniper elements among a berry jam sweetness and an underlay of more icing sugar. There’s a touch of spearmint here too.
There is a little damp, earthy spice and orange oil in the finish.
A wonderful take on dry gin that would shine with a helping of elderflower tonic.

Lovely refreshing and crisp. Taste of Britain that we have taken with us on our move to France. Drink it really cold with Fever Tree tonic, there's nothing quite like it to remind us of home.
Try with lots of ice, splash of Fevertree tonic and a sprig of rosemary. My favourite gin!
We bought this on a recent trip to Dorset - Lovely! Nicest Gin I have ever had
Love this just over ice!
I often drink this gin with just ice as its so smooth and the flavours of the forest are easier to taste without the tonic masking them. Not tried keeping it in the freezer but this is a must I feel now!
