A small batch Scottish gin from the Balmenach distillery in Speyside. Caorunn (pronounced ka-roon), made with a combination of traditional and handpicked botanicals including rowan berry, heather, coul blush apple and dandelion.
Floral at first, with notes of heather and citrus blossom. Juniper takes shape as it develops.
Orange oil, rosemary and a subtle sweetness of heather honey.
Drying juniper and leafy herbs. A pinch of peppery rye lingers.
£4.13 - £41.00
Good gin, side by side comparison better than Aldis Oliver Cromwell but not as good as sing gin and Hendricks.
Really good Gin
Absolutely superb. Speyside is famous for single malt whisky and this is equally special!
Received a bottle today as an early Christmas gift. I added a couple of slices of apple, poured a double measure and left a couple of minutes then added ice and some tonic. Lovely, very smooth and subtle.
Great best gin I have ever tasted Nothing comes close
