Over in Leicestershire, Burleigh's was so taken with the story of King Richard III it decided to make a gin in his honour! Rather fittingly, the botanical list contains herbs and spices that would likely have been found in the Medieval palace kitchens at the time of his rule, with sage, thyme, clove and mace making an appearance.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Orange citrus at the fore, with touches of delicate rose in tow alongside herbaceous thyme and sage, with a warming peppery finish.
