A delicious English gin made with poppy, dragon eye, lotus leaves, citrus, almond, lavender and various other botanicals (12 in total). This is four times distilled in copper pot stills, and Bulldog had the highest rating ever received by a gin from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. It was also voted a Top 50 spirit!

Only started enjoying gin recently. Originally put off drinking G&T by bar staff drenching the character of the gin with too much syrupy tonic water. I think Bulldog is a gin you can drink neat or just with ice or a splash of water but it's also good, one to one, with tonic. I like the contemporary gins but this is good to keep in the cupboard and go back to for a change. A bit different from the classic London Dry and good value too.Lintsky

I drink it with Fevertree indian tonic, the tonic compliments this really good gin. To such an extent, that from a Dram sample, I ended up buying a 70cl bottle. Well priced and well balanced, I good one to keep handy in the drinks cabinet. it's in my top 20 @ No 10.

Not that impressed with bulldog, did a basic standard home test after buying a bottle, cold glass, ice, gin then fever tree so a bit of a naked test. With tonic it has a bit of an after taste dare I say almost chemical! Neat in a chilled glass it's ok, but believe it or not it is improved with a splash (yes a splash so equal the measure of gin) of cranberry juice and that is its saving grace

The Bulldog Gin is one my favorites; not because it's better than any other premium product but because it's probably the most affordable premium product on the market. It's better than any other gin you can find for the same price. It's smooth, not too spicy (but you can definitely taste the poppy!), and since I own a bulldog myself (the dog, of American type) I have nothing but love for this extraordinary English gin.

One of my favourite London dry gins. Perfect for a dry Martini mixed with Dolin dry vermouth. Add whatever garnishment you prefer.

Rather strong for my taste but goes well with lots of ice and refreshing with flavoured tonics such as fever tree or bottle green pomegranate and elderflower

I have been drinking Beefeater over the last 35 years and discovered Bulldog Gin. This is the best and smoothest gin ever. You have a new best friend.

Bulldog's unconventional 80 proof approach to gin somehow works. Makes a delicious Negroni.

It makes the best Gin Martine I have ever had. My wife hates gin , she is a vodka martini drinker, until she tasted my Bulldog martini. Now all she wants is a Bulldog martini! Great stuff!!!!

Very smooth with just a bit of tonic and ice. Definitely better than Hendric's.

...give it a try. I found it a very pleasant and new experience in a very competitive market. Great as a mixer, but do try it on it's own to appreciate its unique quality. x
