Hey, you know that delicious Brockmans Intensely Smooth Gin? Well, this is that very same gin, just in a bigger 1L bottle. That means even more Martinis for your buck. Good thing we have a recipe.
Try mixing up a Maratini with this delicious recipe below!
60ml Brockmans Gin
60ml Pink grapefruit juice
30ml Maraschino liqueur
7.5ml Lemon juice
7.5ml Sugar syrup
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice, and give it a good shake. Double strain into a chilled martini glass. Flambé* a strip of pink grapefruit peel over the glass and wipe the peel around the rim. Garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit or peg of citrus peel and enjoy!
*Hold a lit match a few inches above the glass. From a couple of inches away, squeeze the grapefruit peel towards the flame.
Nose: Fruity nose with hints of cooked fruit, strawberry, damson jam, hints of blossom, and almond.
Palate: Nutty, fruity palate. Blueberries, juniper, and soft aniseed notes.
Finish: Short, with liquorice root and herbs.
