Bright Spirits have created a rather intriguing expression, Roots Gin. It marries many forms of root, including ginger, galangal root (which looks like ginger but tastes piney), angelica root and orris root. Its sweet, spicy and savoury all at once, and certainly isn't lacking in flavour. When it comes to garnishes, we're rooting for a bunch of fresh mint leaves. (Sorry.)
