A Welsh gin made at the famous whisky distillery, Penderyn. This is flavoured with Juniper from Macedonia, orange peel from Spain, Chinese cassia bark, Sri Lankan liquorice, Madagascan cinnamon, French angelica root, Russian coriander, Indian nutmeg, Spanish lemon peel and Italian orris root. Very tasty indeed.

I’m absolutely baffled by the positive reviews, being local I desperately wanted to love Brecon gin but I’m sorry to say it’s the worst gin I’ve tasted. My favourite gins such as Monkey 47 and Hendricks have a signature taste which is easy to recognise. This bottle of gin was flavourless which I found bizarre. Perhaps I had a bad batch, all I can say is I wouldn’t risk buying another bottle when there’s far nicer alternatives.
I agree with Laurie Hobbs ...this is on a par with Bombay Sapphire ... love it
Juniper not to the fore but a lovely fresh citrus taste. I like it with Tesco Finest* tonic - btw it's now 43% with a slightly different label.
Am ordering again -- my husband just loves this gin! We discovered it on our trip to Wales two years ago and now we can't be without it! When I discovered that I can buy it via Masters of Malt I was super happy! My husband believes it is the best gin he's had and he's had lots of different ones.
I love my gin but it has to be good quality,Bombay sapphire ,Tanqueray, Plymouth or Hendricks but I think Brecon special reserve is my new favourite, smooth and so easy to drink and tastes fantastic..What a find by my son and daughter in law for my birthday.
