Star Of Bombay

A 2015 small batch addition to Bombay Sapphire's range. Star of Bombay London Dry Gin features botanicals that'll be familiar to those who love Bombay Sapphire, with a reassembled flavour profile (more punchy juniper, earthy angelica and herbaceous coriander), as well as some new botanicals - bergamot and ambrette seed. It's also been bottled at a robust 47.5% ABV, so this ought to stand out wonderfully in cocktails...

Reviews for Star Of Bombay London Dry Gin
Beautifully clean dry gin
Best gin I’ve tasted so far. Beautifully clean, not as sweet as Bombay Sapphire which I’m not too keen on. I like my gin dry and this is a great London dry.

Worst gin we have sampled all year sorry
This has come out very badly with our team of tasters....don't know what you did taste is the main problem just a faint hint before the alcohol hits....ten tasters who know their gin no one liked it....

Superb Gin
This is my favourite gin, extremely smooth it is that step up from Bombay Sapphire but beware it is deceptively strong

Great Gin
If you're a fan of Bombay Saphire, you will love this addition to their range. It is similar in flavour profile to it's sibling, but the botanicals are more pronounced. Very smooth, despite the higher alcohol content. A terrific gin on it's own, or mixed in a cocktail.
