Blue Light Caribbean Gin comes to us from Grenada, distilled a short walk away from one of the island's white sand beaches. Made with a base of Caribbean cane and featuring a host of botanicals including nutmeg, cacao, cardamom and more, this should be great for refreshing mixed drinks and cocktails - perfect if you fancy pretending you're on a sunny beach somewhere warm.
Juniper brightness to the fore, with warming hints of nutmeg and dark chocolate underneath, plus a kick of cardamom and coriander spiciness.
I am tasting bottled Caribbean spices captured in this unique tasting gin. I can't lie, lockdown has meant I can't share with friends and I'm not disappointed .... I will share whatever is left once we can meet up. In the meantime I have a selection of tonics, fruit juices and a cocktail shaker to use. Cheers!
Feels like a little bit of the tropics in a glass. Love those island spices and smooth finish. If you close your eyes you could be on a sunny beach.
