Benjamin Hall London Dry Bottling Note

Benjamin Hall was a native Welshman, who oversaw the restoration of the Houses of Parliament after a fire in 1834. Some also say that Big Ben is even named after him, as he was a rather tall fellow. If there's anything better than having a giant clock named after you, then surely it's a gin! Benjamin Hall is a a premium London Dry gin from a secret Welsh family recipe, distilled with 11 botanicals. The result is a spirit with sublime balance.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Rich and smooth, juniper lead with a balanced delicate floral edge.

Lovely Gin

Had this Gin last night in a bar in Cardiff and was really impressed with how smooth and flavoursome the Gin is.
No nonsense easy to drink Gin - without all the fuss

Great taste

Margam Park Food Festival

This was one of the drinks tested by the judges at the final event. All the judges voted the London Dry style as the best Gin at the show.
We bought two bottles as this is the first batch - which apparently has now sold out. So we will keep the bottle....
It is a great Gin - lovely and smooth with a tingly after sensation on the tongue.

Tried this at a my daughter wedding

My daughter was booking her weeding at the Vale Hotel, and we were given this Gin as a taster - what a lovely, smooth Gin. I went back and bought a bottle and met the Distiller and he signed the first edition bottle for me.
This is on pride of place in my drinks cabinet

Pure Quality Gin

Delicious quality gin with a lovely story of its origin .

16th June 2019

Drinkable but that’s it

It’s alright, if you’re just after a long g&t, heavy on the t, plenty of ice. Not enough character to warrant the price tag though - should sit with Gordon’s etc

Clean juniper forward flavour

14th June 2019

Good gin

Really smooth and good price

13th June 2019

Not the best

It’s a bit supermarket-y. Wouldn’t buy it again tbh.

New Favourite

My new favourite gin. Went down great in some summer cocktails. Best price around!

With an oversaturated market this gin fails to hit the mark on every level. Strange all the glowing reviews. It’s a big no from me.

Can’t score this Gin high enough

Seriously good Gin and competes with Gins that are double the price...

My go-to gin. The juniper flavour is so well balanced, it makes for the perfect Gin and Tonic. Lovely over ice too. Perfect.

The best

Premium quality at a fantastic price. Beautifully smooth with a lovely strong juniper flavour. This is the gin of 2019!

27th April 2019

Great Gin

11 botanicals and a very balanced Gin, that has a true London Dry Juniper led style.
Cannot recommendation enough - with all the new flavours on the market this makes a refreshing change

First choice for me!

Have managed to get hold of both the London dry and Strawberry (pink) gin and I have to say it is fantastic. The London is super smooth and very drinkable. The strawberry is just perfect, sweet but not tarty! Just love the stuff.

Try it!

The nicest gin I've had in a long time!

26th April 2019

Serious - Grown up Gin

This Gin is a serious, juniper led Staight down the middle Gin. A super premium liquid that slipped down well with tonic or I prefer soda water to get the real taste of the gin

26th April 2019

Great value gin

A great liquid and very smooth on the palate. Strong flavour of juniper which gives the gin a more premium taste than the price suggests.

Good value for money and a premium liquid for the price.

An experience

Like no other gin I have tasted

25th April 2019

My favourite gin ever! Really subtle taste, goes well with any mixer. And it’s welsh! Homegrown produce is the best

25th April 2019

Great Gin if you like Gin

This is a really smooth Gin - it can be drank neat. I had it with Fever Tree tonic and it was a great Gin

25th April 2019

Outstanding characteristics, subtle yet clear flavors, fantastic bouquet and extremely well priced

25th April 2019

A really delicious and smooth drink

Very good round soft gin

One of the best gin's I have ever tasted, I love it with fresh mint. The taste is soft and round whereas I sometimes drink gins which are "hard" and have a bit of an offtaste (best way to describe it)
I love this gin

Worth a shot excellent

Really enjoyed this gin and now drink it instead of my all time favourite
Refreshing and crisp even put it on my negroni
