Beefeater Blood Orange

A wonderful blood orange gin from Beefeater, which tastes just as vibrant as it looks! The gin takes its inspiration from Beefeater's history, as founder James Burrough developed his first orange gin over 150 years ago. It's been made with cocktails and spritzes in mind, so trying it in one certainly wouldn't go amiss. Goes rather well with ginger ale too...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Fabulously citrusy, with bittersweet blood orange bursting into more traditional notes of juniper and an earthy undertone.

Great gin!
Great with a splash of Fevertree Light tonic and two cubes of ice. I added a drop of lemon juice.

Not for me
Not one for me. I’ve never been a fan of beefeater gin, which may influence my score heavily, however it is overly sweet, and the vicious neon orange hue isn’t overly appealing to me either. Whitley Neill’s Blood orange gin is far superior and has a much more developed palate

The Ecstasy and the Agony
The Ecstasy !! The wise bartender at Heathrow Airport, Stephen, recommended and served up this new delicious orange-flavored gin.
The Agony!! The duty-free shop at Heathrow didn’t carry it.

Refreshing and Mouthwatering
This is extremely refreshing and mouthwatering. It really does offer substantial notes of Orange and with this in mind makes the perfect pre dinner drink as well as a great social drink.

Highly recommend this Gin.
