“Technically you're wrong, the Botanicals are steeped for 24 hours Prior to distillation, if they were added to the spirit after distillation it would not be 'distilled' gin”

A really good gin that shot up in price shortly after I had first bought it a few years ago, though luckily the price hasn't risen too much here in the UK.
It's still a very nice gin indeed, although I'm not totally sure it's exactly the same?? However the big but is ... the bottle!! – While having the familiar embossing on the side, the bottles are all red, as opposed to just the thick glass bottom being red. It makes the gin look disconcertingly like diluted blood, which is quite unpleasant. Is this a permanent change or a one-off? The sooner you return to the original bottle the better, for me. The original bottle looked classy; this one just looks ghastly.
Had it as a Martini in Boston. Bartender said that it was just a new bottle. Not so. One sip had me wondering, just didn't seem right, too much like Bombay --- slightly sweet, a bit too much of everything. I know that you have to satisfy the new generation of drinkers and also try to gain shelf space, but please do not mess with the original. It's still the standard!
Sweet taste .. goes well with tonic water and lime coding
