Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Enjoyably savoury and coastal, with hints of liquorice and citrus peels helping to bring balance to the spirit.

Beara Ocean Gin Reviews

Different in a good way

Bought this as my Mum was born on the island and didn’t have any expectations as such. However, this has a beautiful taste IF you like a slightly different taste. If your palate likes salted caramel (or even salt and vinegar crisps!) then I would recommend it - it’s for me a a firm favourite

Yum!

This is tasty! Slightly salty. If you like Edinburgh Seaside, Tarquins etc then you can't go wrong with this one!

A lovely Gin with a little bite

Tried this in Kenmare in Ireland and the sea salt does add something different to it, which makes it stand out from other gins, it is in no way overpowering, but it gives it a little more bite. A very nice gin.

Refreshing drink

I found this gin so refreshing with plenty of ice, freshly squeezed lime and light Fever Tree.

Really lovely, The Ocean saltiness may need balancing

Lovely clean, fresh flavour. The Ocean saltiness is subtle but distinct. With a light tonic the saltiness may be too prevalent, but a Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic is a very good pairing.
