Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Old fashioned sweets ahoy! Nostalgic wafts of cold cubes and gummy lemonade bottles, soon joined by notes of anise, close and a touch of vanilla.

Palate: Fruity rum notes a right up front on this one - think mango, orange and sweet molasses. Then it's right back to classic gin botanicals, with waxy lemon peels, crisp juniper and continuing clove.

Finish: Oak comes through more and more on the finish, with lasting citrus.

Rum Aged Bathtub Gin (10 Months) (Batshit Mental Ideas) Reviews

Nope

Just a bottle of NOPE. Was expecting gin with a hint of rum, but the only taste and flavour was rum. No lovely gin at all.

Alchemy!

Gin and rum - probably not the most traditional of combinations, but somehow this works. It works like nothing else gin-ageing-related I've ever tried works.

Incredible. You have to try this.
