A limited edition collab between Bathtub Gin and Belgravia in Bloom, in a bottle adorned with Kentish wildflowers! The annual Belgravia in Bloom festival coincides with the nearby Chelsea Flower Show, transforming the West London neighbourhood with spectacular floral installations. Following the theme of the 2025 festival, "Through the Seasons", this bottle of the award-winning cold-compounded gin features a colourful display of seasonal Kentish wildflowers on its classic brown paper wrapping, so you can brush up on your botany while sipping a botanical-rich G&T!
Bathtub gin is infused with ingredients including juniper, orange peel, coriander, cassia, cloves and cardamom, with the length of the compounding period controlled entirely by periodic sampling. With a flavour that is both bold and perfumed all at once, brimming with a bouquet of balanced botanicals, it's a hit with amateur and professional mixologists alike.
An initially juniper-rich bouquet is backed up with a solid backbone of rich grain spirit. Top notes of cardamom and orange blossom are evident with just a suggestion of cinnamon.
The initial focus is juniper, but the earthier botanicals make themselves known in the initial palate too. Mouthfeel is exceptionally viscous and creamy – this is good spirit, and it makes itself known.
The juniper subsides and gives way to cardamom and cinnamon, with a late resurgence from orange peel.
A most unusual, but quite entrancing gin.
