Batch Whinberry Gin Bottling Note

A variation on the Batch Premium Gin recipe, incorporating whinberries similar to how sloe berries feature in sloe gin. You may be more familiar with whinberries under the name blaeberries or bilberries - they're mostly called whinberries in Burnley and the surrounding areas.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Massively fruity, with a slight kick of peppery juniper in the background. Quite perfumed at points, too.

Delightfully, warming berry gin
This gin is epic warmed through with Cointreau, cranberry juice, cinnamon stick, anise and cloves. Also fab sloshed in a glass of prosecco - delightful. Another proper gin, full of flavour!

Delicious and complex
This is a delicious gin both neat and as a G&T. It actually works really well with ginger ale or in prosecco too. The flavour is very complex and not sugary sweet at all. I can taste the fruit but the gin comes through strongly as well.
