Anno Kent Dry Gin is one of the first gins to be distilled in Kent since the 1800s (there's also one that's made literally 15 feet from my desk). Fresh and flavourful with a superb selection of botanicals, a number of which are grown in the Garden of England itself, like Kentish lavender, hops, elderflower, rose hips and Samphire grown way out on the coast.
A bright and clean nose carries notes of lavender, samphire and subtle hops. Coriander and lemon provide a citrus edge, while liquorice builds among juniper in the backdrop.
The citrus builds with a very tasty spice alongside, as the lavender becomes more perfumed and black pepper begins to spark. The creamy mouthfeel is complemented well by a savoury, woody tinge.
Delightfully crisp, with a drying finish.
What a fantastic artisan expression from Anno. Very tasty indeed.

My favourite gin so far, and I've tried quite a few ! Nice citrus flavours, but very well balanced.
Really enjoyed it. Not being a professional, I'm not sure whether my tasting notes would be worth repeating! But I will be buying more. PS Great bottle too....
