6 O'clock Gin Bottling Note

6 O'Clock gin is made by Bramley and Gage - top English liqueur producers, and the gin itself is made with just 7 botanicals including elderflowers and citrus peel.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Vibrant, clean and classic in profile from the get-go, it’s a textbook London dry nose. The juniper leads, full-bodied and fresh with plenty of pine, before elderflower adds this subtle, summery sweetness. The coriander and orange peel are unmistakable and work in-tandem to deliver a crisp, warming and aromatic dose of citrus throughout.

Palate The palate is a continuation of the nose: juniper-forward and proud. The citrus and floral notes are beautifully balanced and the juniper is refined and bolstered by a full, almost chewy texture.

Finish Coriander seed heat is present in a long and resinous finish.

Reviews for 6 O'clock Gin
Pure and classic
Love this gin, it's one of the best London Drys I've tasted in more than 25 years of drinking gin! You can really taste the juniper (the whole point of gin), but it's not overpowering, and is smooth enough to drink without tonic. If you like a stronger flavour, their Brunel is another winner, but this is the one I always have on hand!

Fantastic gin
I don't understand the negative reviews, this is a smooth gin and not at all harsh. Definitely a gin for the purist, I love it

Great gin
Beautiful bottle and a great gin inside. Very palatable especially with Mediterranean tonic. My daughter’s absolute favourite.

Don't buy
Highly overpriced, very bitter drink, you are basically paying for blue bottle, inside is worse than aldi or lidl gin that cost 13 euro here in Ireland

Bland and boring.
Honestly a very bland gin, there is nothing wrong with it as such, it's just not really got any stand out flavours to set it aside from the literal ocean of gin available these days. A gentle elderflower note is all I really get.

Not smooth
Not smooth at all it has a very strong slightly off floral note. Not my kind of gin.

A new favorite
I received a sample of this gin in the Ginvent Advent Calendar. I have five more days to go, but so far this is not only my favorite gin in the calendar, it is my favorite gin.

Bought this on a whim. Absolutely lovely with ice and fever tree tonic and a little Rosemary. Tastes like a quality gin. Interesting bottle and glass stopper.
