This well-crafted eau-de-vie is produced by distilling and fermenting small red Williams pears which have been grown exclusively in the Briançon region in the Hautes-Alpes and southern Tirol. The Nusbaumer Distillery is well-known for its distillates and is located in Alsace with a reputation for its care and attention taken when harvesting and its incredibly methodical fruit selection resulting in a fine, fragrant and unforgettably powerful set of eau-de-vie variants that are both as impressive as they are versatile.

Freezer it
This is an expression of pears I had not anticipated. On its own, it is refreshing and fruit forward. Put this in the freezer, and you have a whole new beast. It pear definitely, warming and fragrant, unassailable. Wholeheartedly worth the money.
