Stoli is a very well-known brand of vodka, which has its roots stretching back to 1901, though no one is really very sure of the exact date of birth - some say 1944, some say 1946, some say 1948, and there was a trademark patent dated 1938. So it’s a somewhat contentious subject. In 1972, Stoli began to be imported to the United States by Pepsi, and the trademark outside of Russia has long been owned by the SPI Group with the vodka itself produced in Latvia. Several flavoured variants were introduced back in the 1990s and are still available today.
