The Sibling Distillery was founded in 2014 by the four Eliott-Berry siblings - Felix, Clarice, Cicely and Digby. Within a year of deciding to make their own gin in 2013, they were already producing it, owing partly to the available space at their parents brewery.
However, in 2015 the siblings hit a little bump in the road. The Advertising Standards Agency banned them from using photos of themselves in their marketing, as adverts mustn’t feature people under 25 years of age, with the eldest sibling, Felix, only 23 at the time. While the youngest sibling, Digby, is still under 25, it’s unlikely that they’ll be able to use their faces to market their brand
However, that hasn’t stopped them from expanding, and in 2016 they launched a successful crowdfunding campaign to help them move to a larger site, enabling them to house another still, and create space for distillery tours.
