Green River Distillery

Green River Distilling Co. is a Kentucky whiskey distillery in Owensboro, originally founded by J.W. McCulloch in 1885. Known as DSP-KY-10, it is the tenth oldest licensed distillery in Kentucky. The modern range includes Kentucky straight bourbon, wheated bourbon, rye and full proof releases.

Green River has had the full Kentucky whiskey plotline: success, fire, Prohibition, decline, revival. The brand was restored at its original Owensboro home, giving modern drinkers access to a name that once carried serious weight in American whiskey. Its old nickname, The Whiskey Without Regrets, remains one of the better bits of bourbon marketing history.
