Clase Azul

Clase Azul

Mexican founder Arturo Lomeli launched Clase Azul in 1997, and the label has come a long way since the original sombrero packaging it was originally bestowed with. Now, the Tequila is presented in recognisable hand-sculpted, hand-painted ceramic decanters. This may have something to do with the fact that Lomeli went and got a Master’s Degree in Marketing in 2000, as well as studying to become a Master Distiller. Clase Azul's most expensive bottling of $30,000 features a ceramic bottle studded with amber and 24-karat gold. A collection of 15 of these luxury bottles were created to celebrate Clase Azul's 15th anniversary, and were released to shake up the Tequila industry. The brand is also a massive advocate for upcycling, with the bottles able to be used as any number of things after the Tequila is gone, such as a vase, glass, candle holder or even a lamp.
