Black Thistle

Based in Brechin, Angus, Black Thistle Distilleries was established in 2018, placing an emphasis on local Scottish botanicals and shimmering spirits. The distillery is home to a pair of 850-litre Carl stills. Its portfolio began with a range of gins, the first of which was launched in 2019, eventually expanding into vodka, and most recently, a rum. All of its spirits are brought down to bottling strength with double-filtered Scottish water before being hand-bottled at the distillery.
