The house of Rémy Martin has been in the Cognac business since 1724, making 2024 the 300th anniversary of the legendary producer. It's only fit to mark such a milestone with an equally special bottling, and here we have the official 300th Anniversary Coupe!
Cellar master Baptiste Loiseau also celebrates a special anniversary in 2024, marking his 10th year in the role, and he's delved into some of Rémy's finest reserves to create this exquisite expression. This includes a portion of its Réserve Perpétuelle, an ongoing collection of very rare Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie intended to be passed down through generations of cellar masters at Rémy Martin. It's reserved for special anniversary releases such as this and, in effect, you have a collaboration between Loiseau and his predecessors, a legacy that he in turn will pass on to future generations. Loiseau selected an elegant array of eaux-de-vie to enrich his creation, which is entirely composed of spirit from the prestigious Grande Champagne region. Looking to the future, a portion of this coupe will be stored safely in the Rémy cellars, ready to enrich future anniversary coupes. Housed in a smart wooden case, the elegant bottle again connects past and present with a shape inspired by the 250th Anniversary Coupe that was released back in 1974. An immensely impressive and collectable bit of Cognac history right here.
A balance of fragrant old oak and fresh exotic fruit with notes of candied orange, rich fig, and dates. Gentle spices gather in time, there's a hint of waxed jacket leading to notes of floral tobacco, sandalwood and leather joined by honey, old tannic oak, burnt toffee and vanilla pod.
Fresh and radiant with tropical notes of candied pineapple and passion fruit before rich dried fruit and old leather join. It's silky to sip, with buttery notes of white chocolate joined by praline and waxed citrus.
A touch of rooibos tea, chocolate-coated hazelnuts, candied fruit and decadent, elegant oak.
