Description

Meukow’s familiar panther gets a copper-coloured backdrop for this presentation of its VSOP Superior Cognac. Inside is a blend of eaux-de-vie aged for at least five years that is equally at home in a tasting glass or a well-made Sidecar. The panther can supervise either.

Nose

Candied orange, apple and plum, with a delicate rose note.

Palate

Rounded fruit gives way to leather and liquorice, supported by mellow tannins.

Finish

Coffee and vanilla provide a deeper, gently sweet conclusion.
