An exquisite Premier Cru Cognac from Frapin made with around 20 Grande Champagne eaux de vie aged for over 60 years. It's presented in a handsome decanter bottle and stopper made with rose golden pewter and 18 carat rose gold. The design heavily features the quill, taken as Frapin's symbol in homage to François Rabelais. Just 500 numbered bottles have been produced.
On tasting, this Cognac reveals notes of candied fruits (oranges, apricots and figs) and liquorice, whilst its strong and complex bouquet reveals woody aromas in the mouth, reflecting its vivid amber colour.
