Frapin 1270 Cognac was made with fruit harvested exclusively from the Frapin family's estates in the Grande Champagne region. After distillation, this expression was matured for six months in new oak barrels and then moved to older casks for extended ageing. The name 1270 is something of a tribute to the long history of Frapin. A refined and fruity Cognac that was created by Frapin to work as an aperitif, served over ice, or as a base for cocktails. It even goes wonderfully served with tonic water!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Delicate citrus, creamy vanilla and plenty of soft toffee, with a little sweet tobacco and white pepper spice.
