Vallein-Tercinier is a small family-owned house whose roots in the Cognac region go back to the 15th century, and it has been growing grapes since 1791. This release is an exceptionally unusual meeting of spirits as it's based on a 1962 vintage 60-year-old Cognac to which the blender then added a small quantity of 1762 vintage Cognac. Yes, you read that right, 1762, so this bottling contains tiny quantities of pre-revolutionary French brandy. Only 100 bottles were filled at 42.6% ABV so this is immensely rare.
