This is a VSOP Grande Champagne Cognac from Drouet & Fils, who age their eaux-de-vie for an average of 10 years for using in this expression. The Cognac from Drouet & Fils is made mostly with Ugni Blanc grapes, with a smattering of Colombard too.
Red berries, pears and a hint of anise. A touch bready...
Fresh grape comes through very clear, alongside crushed hazelnuts and apples.
