A classic VSOP cognac, produced with grapes from four crus – Fins Bois, Borderies, Petite Champagne, and Grande Champagne, matured for up to 12 years in a selection of Courvoisier's own proprietary barrels. With layers of balanced oak, stone fruits, coffee, and gentle spice, it's a superbly versatile Cognac for both neat sipping and cocktails.
Whole coffee beans, mint leaves, kumquat, and red grape notes appear at first. Give it a minute and more savoury elements appear, with hints of buttered brown bread and a little whiff of sawdust.
More coffee notes as it opens (this would be a really good partner to espresso after a big meal). Develops touches of brown sugar, waxy apple peels, sweet pea, and a fragrant oakiness.
Ooh, a nice waft of almost smoky cinnamon on the finish. Slowly becomes sweeter with fresh pear and gummy bears.

Nice, smooth, fruity cognac. When nosing, a sharp, almost tangy note imposes itself (I would say oak) which pushes the other flavours a bit into the background. The taste, on the contrary, quite pleasant, peach, jasmine and nuts dominate but at the end you can just taste that caramel. The finish is neat and long lasting but oak is a tat to strong so it gives it some bitterness. Delicious pre/after dinner, but does make a lovely evening drink with some ice. Everything you expect from the brand.
I absolutely love this stylish bottle of Covouriser. Tastes very elegant and certificated. I had this Covouiser with ice and cola. Because it has a 40% alcohol level. The taste of the Covouriser comes in different stages. Firstyou get the apricots and peaches, then the ginger bread, lastly a slight hint of roses. Very very flavourful full

I love this drink, it's just what I hoped for, smooth, warming with subtle undertones. Absolutely delightful. Looks amazing too in the white box. I love a good cognac, and wow this is a good cognac!
