Initiale Extra is a beautifully packaged Cognac from Courvoisier, made with eaux-de-vie distilled from Grande Champagne and Borderies grapes. The result is rich and full.
Nose: Allspice and fragrant woods. Hints of cigar leaf and cinnamon.
Palate: Orange peel, cinnamon and toffee. Notes of dried apricots and Christmas cake.
Finish: Baking spices and potpourri on the finish.
Overall: Superbly balanced and very complex.
