Superb XO Cognac from Bache Gabrielsen, bringing together eaux-de-vie from three of Cognac's growing regions - specifically Fins Bois, Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne. It's got an enjoyably fancy bottles too, which is always a treat.
Dense dried fruit and honey, with layers of zesty lemon and a crackle of cardamom spiciness.
