Gospel Green Sparkling Cyder Rosé 2017
Gospel Green cidermakers in Hampshire produce some lovely vintages. This rosé version from the 2017 is made with a mixture of cooking and dessert apples with the pink hue coming from a small amount of pinot noir wine added. It gets its fizz from the same method used to make champagne - bottle fermentation followed by long ageing so that it has picked up lots of rich toasty flavours.

Strawberry and raspberry on the palate with little cooked apple. Baked apple and cherry on the palate with a toasty nutty finish.
