Description

An incredible vintage La Grande Dame Rosé Champagne from Veuve Clicquot! This is the 2008 vintage, made with 92% Pinot Noir and the rest Chardonnay. It's rich and delicate, full of red fruits, all while sporting a rather lovely pink hue.

Nose

The wine shows powerful notes of red fruits (raspberry and strawberry), combined with citrus notes (blood orange, grapefruit), and finally holds a perfect balance between subtle and spicy with notes of red berries, rooibos tea and fine leather.

Palate

Fruit outshines the palate and presents intensity in red and black fruits (cherry, strawberry, blackberry and blackcurrant). The strength and youth are carved by long aging notes, dried flowers and smoky notes.
