Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill 2013 75cl

Behold, the 20th vintage of Pol Roger's excellent Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill! As you probably guessed, this Champagne was produced in homage to the former prime minister, made with a secret combination of grapes, rumoured to include a majority of Pinot Noir grapes and a smaller proportion of Chardonnay. The wine is then rested for a lengthy period of time (over seven years!), developing a wealth of bright citrus, ripe orchard fruit, and hallmark buttery brioche flavours.
