Seriously fancy old Champagne alert! Hors-Série meaning something like 'special releases' was launched by Piper-Heidsieck in 2021 to showcase some extraordinarily aged Champagne. A blend of 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay, this has spent nearly 40 years on its lees (dead yeast cells) in the cellars in Rheims before it was disgorged in 2022. This is a very special and rare Champagne.
