Pluie d'été means 'summer rain' in French, which is a rather lovely name for a rather lovely rosé Champagne. This brut rosé Champagne from L&S Cheurlin is made from pinot noir grapes. A low dosage of sugar (9g/L) ensures plenty of vibrant red fruit character. This will stand up to some rich dishes – rillettes, buttery sauces, and the like.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Vivacious bubbles, with raspberry and fresh cherry notes on the nose, leading to toasted brioche, gooseberry compote, and a hint of grapefruit.
