The brilliance of Bollinger strikes again! PN TX17 showcases the Pinot Noir grape in all its glory in this stunning Blanc de Noirs Champagne. Built upon a base of 2017 vintage wine, the majority of the grapes were grown in the village of Tauxières, bolstered by harvests from Avenay and Verzenay. Released after generous cellar aging, this is a supremely elegant sipper that ought to pair rather well with mellow French cheeses.
A gently floral start quickly opens up to layers of dried, and cooked fruits with wafts of prune and candied pineapple, silky honey, and toasted nuts. The red grapes are apparent, with distant dark berries nestling upon zesty salted lemons.
